Finding the best pancakes in Northeast Florida is no small task and our team was up for the challenge! After asking around we were able to narrow it down to three locations and some delicious pancakes!

2. Metro Diner was pancake stop number two and it was a great pancake, but was it the best?! Here’s more information: Metro Diner’s story began in 1938 when the building that would become the first location opened in Jacksonville, Florida. Officially branded in 1992, Metro Diner quickly became the go-to local restaurant for comforting classics and reimagined favorites. With the help of Master Chef Mark Davoli and his family, Metro Diner continued to grow and even earned a spot on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. 3. First Watch was stop number three on our pancake quest and you know what they say, saving the best for last! Here’s more information about First Watch:

   First Watch opened as a new daytime café in 1983 – a first-of-its-kind restaurant serving breakfast, brunch and lunch only. The idea was that we would focus on daytime dining, work to perfect it, without trying to moonlight as a dinner place. That’s right… For our staff, that meant no night shifts. Ever. They could leave work in time to pick up the kids from school, play a round of golf, get homework done, or simply enjoy the afternoon. That philosophy still exists in our restaurants today!

   We’ve worked hard to build a reputation for quality, fresh food and warm, friendly welcomes.
