TPC at Sawgrass is ranked as one of the most difficult courses in the world opened in 1980. This course is home to the PGA tour headquarters and hosts the players championship, one of the PGA Tour signature events.

TPC at Sawgrass is located in Ponte Vedra and actually has two individual courses the stadium course and the Valley Course.

A unique feature in the stadium course is that it carries a distinct stadium. Fans at the TPC sit in stands made of raised mounds of grass. Built on 415 acres, the course contains numerous challenges, including narrow fairways that line with hazards like marshes and waste bunkers, dozens of deep pop bunkers, strategic place to catch, even the slightly misplaced shot thick rough that features craters and mounds, tall shot, obstructing palm trees and rock hard lightning fast greens.

But this course is famous for only one hole that is hole number 17, known simply as Island Green. This hole is surrounded by water with the only option when playing is to land on the green, because if not, you're swimming with the fishes. It is estimated that more than 100,000 balls are retrieved from the surrounding water every year, courtesy of professionals and tourists alike.

The residents here enjoy the opportunity to have this course in their backyard. The community already enjoys amazing amenities in proximity to what Northeast Florida has to offer.
